Cloud Engineer क्या होता है?
Cloud Engineer वह professional होता है जो internet के ज़रिये companies के servers, storage, databases और applications को design, deploy और manage करता है, जो Cloud platforms पर host किए जाते हैं। पहले companies अपने offices में physical servers लगाकर storage, databases और applications को manage करती थीं, जिनकी maintenance महंगी, complex और time-consuming होती थी। Cloud Engineer इसी समस्या का समाधान करता है। वह internet पर मौजूद virtual cloud infrastructure पर servers और services को configure, monitor और maintain करता है। यह काम आमतौर पर AWS, Microsoft Azure या Google Cloud Platform जैसे cloud providers पर किया जाता है।

Cloud Computing क्या है?
Cloud Engineering को समझने से पहले हमें Cloud Computing को समझना ज़रूरी है।
दरअसल Cloud Computing का मतलब है कि आपको अपना data या software अपने computer या mobile में store या install करने की ज़रूरत नहीं होती, बल्कि आप उसे internet पर मौजूद powerful remote servers में store करते हैं और वहीं से उसे access करके use करते हैं। जैसे हम Gmail, Google Drive या Netflix का इस्तेमाल करते हैं — ये Cloud Computing के practical examples हैं। Cloud Engineer इन्हीं cloud-based systems को design, deploy, manage और secure करता है।
Cloud Engineer बनने के लिए Qualification
Cloud Engineer बनने के लिए भी कोई mandatory degree नहीं होती है। Cloud Engineering technically कोई भी कर सकता है, लेकिन practically companies graduation वालों को ज़्यादा hire करती हैं। इसलिए यह skill ग्रेजुएट लोगों के लिए ही फायदेमंद होती है। अगर आपने 10वीं, 12वीं या graduation की है और आपको basic computer knowledge है, तो आप इस field में आ सकते हैं। अगर आपको Linux, Networking और Internet की basic समझ है, तो Cloud सीखना बहुत आसान हो जाता है, यही कारण है कि ज्यादातर Cloud Engineers पहलेLinux या DevOps सीखते हैं। लेकिन Hiring ग्रेजुएशन Base पर ही होती है।

एक Cloud Engineer बनते समय आपको basics से लेकर advanced topics तक clear होने चाहिए। Virtual machines, storage, networking, load balancer, security और backup जैसे concepts बहुत important हैं। इसके साथ-साथ automation और cost optimization भी सीखना जरूरी है, क्योंकि companies चाहती हैं कि cloud fast होने के साथ-साथ economical भी हो।
यह Course कितने समय का होता है?
Cloud Engineering सीखने का duration आपके background पर depend करता है। अगर आप beginner हैं, तो cloud के basics समझने में आपको 2 से 3 महीने लग सकते हैं। इसके बाद जब आप AWS, Azure या GCP जैसे platforms पर practice करते हैं, तो level तक पहुँचने में 4 से 6 महीने लगते हैं।अगर आप cloud को advanced level तक सीखना चाहते हैं, जहाँ real infrastructure manage करते हैं, तो 8 से 12 महीने का समय लग सकता है।

एक Cloud Expert बनने के लिए आप online या offline learning में से किसी को भी prefer कर सकते हैं; बस यह आपके पास मौजूद options पर निर्भर करेगा। AWS, Microsoft Azure और Google Cloud के official platforms पर भी इसके structured courses मिलते हैं। इसके अलावा Udemy, Coursera, edX और YouTube पर भी practical cloud courses available हैं। सबसे जरूरी बात यह है कि cloud सीखते समय hands-on practice ज़रूरी है।
