चलिए पहले Scholarship के Concept को समझते हैं :
Scholarships के लिए apply करने से पहले scholarship के concept को अच्छी तरह समझना बहुत ज़रूरी है। आम तौर पर scholarships दो प्रकार की होती हैं। पहली होती है Central / Program-Based Scholarships, जो Government-Funded होती हैं। ऐसी scholarships के लिए students central portal या official program platform के माध्यम से apply करते हैं। दूसरी प्रकार की scholarships होती हैं University-Funded Scholarships, जो किसी particular university या college द्वारा अपने students को प्रदान की जाती हैं।
इन scholarships के लिए आवेदन सीधे university की official website या admission process के दौरान किया जाता है। यही pattern Indian universities की scholarships हासिल करने के लिए भी लागू होता है और यही pattern Foreign universities की scholarships के लिए भी follow किया जाता है। इसलिए scholarship apply करने से पहले उसके type और process को समझना बेहद आवश्यक है।
National Scholarship Portal (NSP) के माध्यम से scholarship
State Scholarships
अगर किसी student को Indian universities में scholarship चाहिए, तो वह National Scholarship Portal (NSP) के माध्यम से scholarship के लिए apply कर सकता है। NSP भारत सरकार का official portal है, जहाँ government-funded scholarships उपलब्ध होती हैं। इन scholarships के लिए apply करते समय student को eligibility criteria, course details और institute recognition से जुड़ी शर्तों को पूरा करना होता है। सही जानकारी और documents के साथ आवेदन करने पर scholarship की राशि सीधे student के bank account में transfer की जाती है।
NSP Scholarship के लिए मुख्य Criteria:
- Student किसी recognized Indian university या college में enrolled होना चाहिए
- University / college UGC, AICTE या Government-approved होना चाहिए
- Family income scholarship scheme के अनुसार निर्धारित सीमा के अंदर होनी चाहिए
- Student की category (General / SC / ST / OBC / Minority) scheme के अनुसार eligible हो
- Required documents जैसे Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Aadhaar, Bank Account details उपलब्ध हों
- Course और academic qualification scholarship guidelines के अनुसार हो

कई राज्यों की scholarships NSP पर available नहीं होतीं; जिनके लिए अलग State Government Portal होता है इन cases में students को सिर्फ अपने state के official portal से ही apply करना होता है। इन scholarships का NSP से कोई connection नहीं होता।

Foreign Universities Scholarships
अगर कोई student foreign universities में scholarship के साथ पढ़ाई करना चाहता है, तो वह Program-Based (Government-Funded) Scholarships या University-Funded Scholarships के माध्यम से apply कर सकता है। Program-based scholarships जैसे Fulbright, Chevening या Erasmus+ के लिए students central program portal पर apply करते हैं, जहाँ selection के बाद university allot की जाती है। वहीं university-funded scholarships के लिए apply सीधे foreign university की official website या admission process के दौरान किया जाता है।
Foreign Scholarships के लिए मुख्य Criteria:
- Student का academic record strong होना चाहिए
- Required English language proficiency (IELTS / TOEFL आदि) पूरी होनी चाहिए
- Selected course और university की eligibility conditions fulfill करनी होंगी
- Valid passport और required documents उपलब्ध होने चाहिए
- Program-based scholarships के लिए interview / assessment process हो सकता है
- Application deadlines और country-specific rules follow करना ज़रूरी होता है
Fulbright, Chevening और Erasmus+ सभी Program-Based Scholarships हैं। इनके लिए आवेदन हमेशा central program portal से ही किया जाता है,
